FFB is good. These three games have good FFB. But rFactor 2 allows you to catch car. In iRacing I can't feel the edge... AMS 2 is getting better and definitely "must have".

I use a rotary axis as a separate fourth axis. Therefore, my settings may not be suitable if you use your rotary axis as the X or Y axis. Depending on the software, it should either be constant or recalculated based on the current part diameter.

You should measure your actual movements and adjust parameter $102 in GRBL - the number of pulses per millimeter. My measurement is 800. The pitch should be the same for the 1204 ball screw, with 12 representing the diameter and 04 representing the travel per revolution. I only made changes for the X and Y axes, setting $100 to 802 and $101 to 802. Additionally, make sure the movement is not off-center; check the geometry. If the spindle is too heavy, it might not be perfectly vertical, you need to adjust it.

I recommend setting the parameter $1 to 255 in GRBL. This will prevent the machine from sliding off when there are no move commands.

You can buy any 1.5kw spindle with inverter. Note, spindle can cause USB disconnection. My spindle with ER11 collet. AA precision collets preferred instead of yellow boxes collets. And you need a balanced nut too. You can join to my discord for more info. Link on my channel main page

Thx for your opinion ♥ I don't feel disconnected. All bumps and tilts are just in time. VR is probably much better, but I like seeing my real devices. ✌VR+motion rig is probably the best experience.

@@VAZHURERACING I'm sure the rig is doing what the car is doing (using telemetry)but the way the car moves on screen doesn't correlate to how its moving on the rig, if you get me. I just never seen the motion rig line up with the camera movements when the screens aren't attached to the rig. I don't know how good that would be for the screens though, haha

my Nema 23 has an open loop. Yeah, I did change the motherboard, but you can still use the old one with external drivers.

Ball screw is a good choice. I've bought 1204 already, but there's a lot of changes in the design.
